On March 12, the Friars celebrated the Mothers’ Club 44th annual Fashion Show and Dinner at Drury Lane! This fun event consisted of raffle prizes, a delicious meal, professional models, and Fenwick’s own senior models. The fashion show highlighted select brands and allowed for the seniors’ connection to further strengthen with each other, their parents, and with the rest of the Fenwick community.
Opening the show, the Friar Shop merchandise was modeled by special faculty and select Seniors. Featured, were vibrant crewnecks, black and white sweaters and polo shirts, embroidered sweat-sets and more. The Friar’s strutted down the runway, smiling and waving to their audience. Members of the Fenwick community can often be seen in public wearing the Friar Shop’s merchandise, proudly wearing the shield everywhere they go.
Shortly after, casual wear was modeled by other students. Brands like Call Your Friends and J. McLaughlin was represented with blouses, jeans, polo shirts and more. The senior’s confidently wore their casual wear, embracing the chique styles.
Transitioning to fancier attire, the senior’s walked the runway with their parents in formal wear. The senior girl’s wore long, sparkly, prom dresses with their dad accompanying them in a variety of suits. The senior boy’s wore high-end tuxedos with their mom on their arm in ball gowns. Brands included La Jolie Boutique and Gentlemen’s Quarters Formalwear. The duos added their own personalization to their walk with high fives, poses, and accessories. While the pairings walked the runway, their favorite memory of Fenwick was shared.
The show concluded with all of the senior’s in jeans and senior t-shirts, all taking in one last moment together on stage. The Fenwick Fashion Show provided a once in a lifetime event for many Friar’s and their parents. This event brought the community together and represented the shield in a variety of ways.
