Lollapalooza 2019 is on its way. There have been many rumors on which artists will be making an appearance. From Cardi B to Twenty One Pilots, the predictions this year have many teens excited to buy a ticket. Everyone is going to wish to be in Grant Park from August 1-4. Here is a list of the top ten most anticipated artists:

Ariana Grande: It has been essentially verified that Ariana will be the headline artist this year. Many sources have reported that she has been talking with Lollapalooza management for months. Therefore, this is one artist you can certainly be excited to see. Grande just released her album Sweetener, which has been topping the charts on Apple Music and Spotify since its release.

Cardi B: The “I Like It” singer is one of the most rumored to come. Cardi B was confirmed to make an appearance during Bruno Mars’s Lolla set in 2018 following their collaboration on Mars’s song “Finesse”. Last august however, she was about to deliver her firstborn child, Kulture. Hence, Cardi was unable to come. However this year, everybody is pumped to hopefully see her Lollapalooza debut.

Khalid: Khalid appeared at Lollapalooza 2018, but maybe he will make this an annual occurrence? He did recently release a new song, “Talk” and a new album, Free Spirit is approaching. Khalid also just announced his short film, Khalid: Free Spirit. Many have taken to social media to express their thoughts that Lollapalooza would be a great place for him to sing his new tunes and promote his short film, which both drop on April 5th. Who doesn’t want more Khalid?

Kanye West: The Chicago native has not been at this festival ever since 2008. However, with his 2018 album out, many people are hoping for an encore. He does love Chicago. Maybe Kim will make an appearance as well.

Kacey Musgraves: The 2019 Grammy winner may be sparkling on the Lollapalooza stage this Summer. Musgraves won album of the year for her phenomenal Golden Hour with hits such as “Space Cowboy” and “Rainbow”. She is scheduled to sing at Coachella, and many view the Coachella lineup as a great indicator of who will be playing at Lollapalooza. Consequently, Kacey will most likely be making her way to Chicago as well. As it usually goes, if the artist is at Coachella, they will probably make their way to Lollapalooza too. If Kacey Musgraves does make her way to Grant Park this summer, she will be an artist not to miss.

Lana Del Rey: Her sixth album is coming out this year! Lana Del Rey just dropped a single,”Mariners Apartment Complex” from the album. When she is promoting, Lana likes to appear at as many festivals as possible. Let’s hope we get to hear a few song teasers this summer, or maybe the whole album!

Childish Gambino: Is it really Summer without one of Donald Glover’s songs? He truly is the “Summer Vibe King”. Gambino has not been to Lollapalooza since 2014, and the festival is not the same without him. He is also playing Coachella and Bonnaroo! Therefore, prepare to break out your dance moves in Grant Park this year.

Maggie Rogers: The predictions on whether this new artist is coming this year have been “On + Off”. However, because she is playing Coachella, let us just say it is on. Fingers crossed!

Weezer: The American rock band is going on tour this spring. The group has twelve albums; however, even if you’re not familiar with their other music, everyone wants to sing along to their catchy version of “Africa” on repeat.

Twenty-One Pilots: Do not be “Stressed Out”! It is fundamentally confirmed that the alternative hip-pop band will play. The group will also be playing at Lollapalooza Paris.

This year’s most predicted artists are incredible. There is a true variety of singers to see. Hopefully, this list made the decision of whether to go to or not easier. For all the Friars going to Lollapalooza 2019, have a spectacular time!
