By Robert Metaxatos
Friday, February 10 saw the Photography Club’s grandest project to date: a day in the life of the Friar. Twenty students from the club took photographs from the time they woke up until the end of the day, their work of which will be compiled into an e-book for display; the intention is to show potential scholars and alumni what the school is about.
Anna-Nikol Georgiev, one of the students, has had a passion for photography since studying in Europe for two years. She poignantly points the same DSLR her father gave her at the time, stating, “It has always been interesting to capture a moment.” Considering this, she almost single-handedly revived the club during a moderator transition period when Mr. Stewart retired, bringing in the current head Mr. Paulett. She, along with the other students, were able to successfully capture the essence of a day in the life of the school.
